There is something very special about a one-to-one or small group tour or workshop.

Teaching and mentoring becomes more tailored, more intimate. And being out in the landscape ‘almost alone’ becomes far more rewarding and memorable.

The ability to offer a choice of locations, accommodation and restaurants created specifically, creates a truly ‘white-glove’ experience.

Typically I put together these bespoke workshops and tours for individuals, couples and small groups.

Over the years I have developed some close relationships with a select group of retreats, hotels and restaurants, and have intimate knowledge of many stunning areas and remote locations.

In my approach to teaching I discuss the art, craft, process and mindset of landscape photography.

With one-to-one workshops we always discuss specific tutorial needs beforehand, so that you come away with the necessary new found knowledge and inspiration to move you forward on your photographic journey.

Common keynotes and topics for discussion include…

Inspiration

Pre-planning

Weather & timing

Equipment choice, keeping things simple & weather protection

The use of on camera filters

Light & composition

Creating panoramics

Post production, image workflow & the importance of printing

Portfolio reviews & critique
